Summary

Keeper's Cottage is thought to date to the 18th century later, and is constructed of brick with a pantile roof. The chequered brickwork and the massive base of the chimney on the west gable indicate a possible 17th century origin.

This may be the same as the building listed (S1) in 1985 Grade II as 'Keeper's Cottage' and dated as 18th century and later.

English Heritage Listing:
Keepers Cottage, Suffield.
Cottage. 18th century with later additions. Brick in Flemish bond with black headers; pantiled roof. Rectangular on plan with outshut to rear. Two storeys, random fenestration. Brick plinth. Four leaded cross casements under segmental arches to ground floor. Central 20th century wooden porch; six panel door, top four glazed. Three leaded casements to first floor. Eaves raised in 19th century, kneelers to previous gables visible. Two gable end stacks, that to left hand side external.
