Full Description
Timber framed building possibly of unique type. Screens passage plan with hall and services, upper floor probably original, stack one-sided and serving hall only. West cell is of primitive form and not a parlour; separately framed from the rest of the building, the south hall wall appears to go with it. Appears to be a 15th century remodelling of an older building on the longhouse-derivative pattern. Subdivided 19th century. Much altered in the 1980s.
