Full Description
17th century entrance lobby cottage.
Sample of clay lump to NCM 1978.
Information from (S1).
E. Rose (NAU), 25 November 1981
However, as it has now been established that true clay lump was not invented until the late 18th century either this sample was part of a later alteration or else is not actual clay lump.
E. Rose (NLA), 17 August 1993.
