Full Description
About 1955. At intersection of grass runways on private airfield. Seen in ploughsoil soon after deep ploughing.
Pennanular ditch? of unknown diameter with a number of holes within.
Perhaps all contained very dark soil, small bone, flint chippings and ash.
Possibly 2 openings in circle.

The possible ring ditch recorded above could not be identified from the available aerial photographs. A possible linear trackway, which may be Roman in date (NHER 52375), has been recorded in the vicinity, however.
