Summary

Metal detecting here in 1981 recovered the tip of a Middle Bronze socketed spearhead with rounded midrib and slightly bevelled blade.

Map

Late November 1981. Found on surface of ploughed field with metal detecting.
Tip of bronze socketed spearhead, with rounded midrib and slightly bevelled blade.
Probably of Middle Bronze Age type.
Corroded with dark brown and green patina.
Two thick fragments of cast bronze of unknown function or date. Corroded, green and with black material adhering to one side.
