Summary
A former dairy, Orchard Acre has a very rare medieval south wall, whose bricks resemble those used in the Norwich Cow Tower. As such it may date from as early as the 14th century, when Orchard Acre began life as a late medieval brick house, probably an extension to Cherry Cottage, whose rear wall is made completely of rough flint. It is thought that the presence of such an early brick building as Orchard Acre confirms the proximity of Postwick manor, although no firm siting for the manor has been made.

These two properties appear to form one building.
House containing large quantities of medieval brickwork behind 19th century facade.
18th century north gable.
Possibly part of manor buildings.
