Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking at this location in 1981 and 2023 recovered an Early Neolithic leaf-shaped flint arrowhead; Roman, Late Saxon and medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a Late Roman strap end; a medieval buckle and copper alloy and lead seal matrices and a post-medieval copper alloy and glass seal matrix/fob seal.

Silver cut halfpenny of William the Lion of Scotland (identified by S. Margeson NCM).
Late Roman bronze strap end. (S1 and S3) in file.
