19 November 1981.
Fieldwalking of proposed golf course.
Weathered sandy clay and chalky soil with 7.6cm to 10.1cm of cereal crop.
At grid reference only, 2 small rough abraded sherds.
Probably medieval.
Some post medieval stoneware sherds.
Remainder of field only produced light scatter undatable brick fragments and some oyster shell.
Identified A. Rogerson (NAU) December 1981.
Found by J. Wright (NCC).
