Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1981 and 1997 recovered a variety of objects. Finds comprised fragments of a Roman bracelet and vessel, two Roman coins, part of a possible medieval bronze vessel and a post medieval buckle and a seal. Iron Age and Roman pottery sherds were also recovered.

Fragment of undecorated terminal of bronze bracelet with overlapping ends - Roman.
Bronze knob, from harness? - date?
Roman cockerel, drawn (S1), see file
Fragment of bronze vessel - medieval?
Lead bale seal, one letter (?h) visible on small back plate.
Bronze lump from bronze working.
