Map

Small stone head, perhaps label stop, possibly from Whitefriars, built into patch of 17th/18th century bricks. Wall much bowed and held by large S-shaped wrought iron tie bar.
On 1842 plan of Lynn Harbour (at KLM) this warehouse is shown as Edward Bagge's. It is directly behind 9 Nelson Street owned by Bagges from 1766. Edward was partner in 1845 Bagge's brewery, maltings, wine and spirits trade. 1830 map shows two distinct east-to-west wings to warehouse but all built into one building by 1927. Low arch further east in same wall as stone head is blocked with almost contemporary brickwork. This area of wall very roughened and small adjoining block at this point marked in 1830.
E. James (KLM), April 1982.
