Summary

Beck Hall is listed as a 17th century rendered timber-frame house with a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. However it is thought that it may actually be the remains of a 15th century hall house with parts of the crownpost roof remaining.

Listing Description:
Beck Hall, Starston Hill (or Station Road).
17th-century timber-frame house, rendered. Steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. Gabled cross wing on south end with pierces barge boards. Two storeys and attic. Five window bays. Early 19th-century, two and three-light casements and panelled door in reeded architrave. Lean-to and early 19th-century brick wing at rear.
