Full Description
Spring 1982. Context 1. Surface finds in fieldwalking.
Found in band up to 50m wide along west edge field.
Several concentrations.
Flints.
Medieval to post medieval sherds and objects.

1983. Context 2. Further finds, area extended to east.
Information from Hales Survey.

Settlement may have begun on this site during the early medieval period. The majority of the pottery evidence dates to the medieval period, and settlement seems to have declined rapidly from the late medieval period.
