A cropmark of a possible ring ditch, that may relate to a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1). The grid reference for this cropmark has been amended from TG 3372 1313 to TG 3371 1309. A possible ring ditch cropmark is faintly visible, although it is not completely convincing and may be a natural feature. It appears to be defined by a narrow ditch and has an external diameter of 10m. If this is an archaeological feature, it is possible that it is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a round barrow.
J. Albone (NMP) 14 December 2006
