Summary

This is the site of a medieval settlement, which may have been on the edge of a common. Fieldwalking has recovered prehistoric flints and medieval and post medieval pottery. A medieval coin and a buckle have been found during metal detecting.

Medieval Anglo Irish penny (see coin list).

Medieval, 13th century, buckle. Outer frame in form of animal mask, with pointed muzzle and deeply drilled eyes. Moulded eyes.
