Summary

Prehistoric flint flakes, Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery have been found by fieldwalking on this site. The cropmarks of a ring ditch have been identified within the vicinity of these finds (NHER 50746).

Context 1. Fieldwalking in poor conditions over ring ditch and remainder of field to northeast.
18 Roman greyware:-
Possibly only 2 pots and unusually gritty.
1 medieval unglazed.
13 flint scrapers and 1 end scraper. (Identified by J. Gardiner (NAU)).
