Summary

Fieldwalking in 1982 recovered two pottery sherds from the 14th to 15th centuries. Later metal-detecting in 2022 recovered part of a medieval/post-medieval silver pilgrim badge.

Strap handle and part glazed sherd late medieval/early post medieval ware. Both 14th-15th century.

Medieval/post-medieval silver pilgrim badge fragment.
Information from PAS import.
This silver pilgrim badge fragment was declared Treasure at inquest (Ref: 2022 T963) and subsequently donated to Norwich Castle Museum.
Site extended to the whole field. Previously mapped as a point at [4].
