A common type 22 hexagonal concrete and brick pillbox, built in about 1940 as part of a network of anti-invasion defences of the time.

Pill box.
Polygonal. Concrete with brick inner skin, outer brick skin removed. Lacks usual central pillar.
In unusual position between former wood (cemetery extension) and field to south.
