Summary

The site of a drainage mill, marked on a 19th century map. The mill was demolished in the 1950s but the single storey marshman's cottage survives.

(S2) includes photographs, some history and description. The mill dated from the 18th century. It was a 3-storey high brick tower with patent sails and 8 bladed fantail. It powered a scoopwheel. It last worked in 1948 and was demolished in the early 1950s. The later 19th century single-storey marshman's cottage survives.
