July 2009. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
The school was built in 1873 as a single-cell building next to a thatched and older school house. The school is constructed from red brick in a functional style with plain arched window in the gable. The pantiles on the roof look new but it is possible that the pantiles on the porch and outbuilding are older. The 1903 survey shows the internal space divided into two rooms.
