Summary

The earthworks of at least two medieval tofts and medieval ridge and furrow are visible on the ground and on aerial photographs. The site is close to another possible medieval ditched enclosure, see NHER 31613.

Earthworks of double enclosure, surrounded and divided by ditch. Not like old fields, more like a moat. Similar to, yet separate from, suggested deserted medieval village earthworks to north (NHER 11834).

Tofts, at least two with building platforms near road, on both sides of a five or six ridge-width section of north to south ridge and furrow.

Survey at 1:1000. Site extended to south of NHER 31613, with further subdued ridge and furrow.
