Map

8 December 1982. Small roddon runs into field dyke here and material rounded up adjacent to dyke.
Does not appear to be larger roddon so probable that extra material comes from dyke clearing and conceivable that flint comes from beneath peat. Feature of roddons in field is that they contain amount of poor quality flint, ironstone and iron rich sandstone.
These spread onto peat through ploughing.
Odd flint tools including flakes over area 25m northwest to southeast x 20m southwest to northeast.
R. Silvester (NAU) December 1982.

Some of the material found has been reidentified as medieval pottery, tile and slag.
