Location

Civil Parish WEST WALTON, WEST NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

10 December 1982. In middle of flat silt field. Grid reference may not be exactly right owing to removal of
boundaries. Grid reference corrected from aerial photographs by R. Silvester (NAU).
Mound; approximately 40m diameter and 1.3m high. Composed of silt. No obvious occupation material apart from brick fragments, perhaps fortuitous.
R. Silvester (NAU) December 1982.

Note well outside Sea Bank so unlikely to be a seamark like those further east. A drainage pump stance?
E. Rose (NAU) 13 December 1982.
