Full Description
3 December 1982.
Context 1: Spread of medieval sherds occasionally over field, mostly at north end.
Context 2 (at 4967 1219). About 40m northwest to southeast x 30m northeast to southwest.
Concentration of Roman sherds on top of medium sized roddon.
Includes Samian and mixed with a concentration of medieval sherds which are spread an extra 30m along roddon to northwest.

Some of the above material from Context 1 was reidentified as medieval brick.
