Summary

In 1982 a Roman copper alloy sestertius coin of the emperor Marcus Aurelius was recovered from the parish of South Pickenham. The exact nature and location of this discovery are unclear.

Bronze sestertius of Marcus Aurelius. Reverse shows female figure seated left. Left arm raised, right arm extended. Wearing helmet. Round shield? to rear, rather worn.
No parallel in Seaby but inscription is Seaby C.
