Full Description
Probably 30 years or so ago. Found on Sheringham beach at Sparrow Gap, right next to fragments of pot.
All apparently having fallen out of the cliff. Not washed up as previously reported.
Unspecified number of large Roman copper alloy coins, all very worn. Five seen by A. Gregory (NAU).
Illegible sestertius, as of Hadrian, and as, dupondium and sestertius of Antoninus Pius.
Presumably late 2nd century AD hoard?
