Map

Wreck.
On Admiralty chart 1957 at 52 degrees 34' north, 1 degree 44' east.
E. Rose (NAU), 27 January 1983.

There is an object protruding from the sand in two places some distance southwest of this spot which appears to be the wreck of a metal ship.
Is it the same moved by the tide, or is this just the margin of error for the chart?
South of intake for power station.
E. Rose (NAU), 14 April 1983.

NMR monument maritime listing for a wreck given as TG5373 0455 but as latitude 52o 34' north, longitude 001o 44' east, seems to be the same as this wreck (though it might conceivably be NHER 18657). No details known. Copy in file.
