Summary

A wreck is marked on an Admiralty chart of 1957. It could be the SS Artemisia, which was sunk by enemy aircraft in March 1941. The wreck was blown up in 1971.

On Admiralty chart 1957, at 52 degrees 51' north, 1 degree 43' east.
E. Rose (NAU), 28 January 1983.

Possibly the SS Artemisia, located at 52.51.41 north, 001.36.24 east by survey.
Sunk 14 March 1941 by enemy aircraft.
Mostly complete 1971 with midships gone and engine room exposed.
Blown up 1971.
