Full Description
Wreck.
On Admiralty chart 1957, as at 52 degrees 52' north, 1 degree 40' east.
E. Rose (NAU), 28 January 1983.
Possibly the same as an unknown wreck on survey at 52.50.41 north, 001.32.41 east, which fouled sweep in 1961.
Steel fragments of considerable encrustation, therefore not remains of Piet Schipper sunk 1960 and perhaps dislodged sections of HMS Francolin (site NHER 18727).
See details in file.
E. Rose (NAU), 27 January 1984.
