A wreck is marked on an Admiralty chart of 1957. It is possibly that of the SS Marsden, which sank in 1929.

Marked on Admiralty chart 1957 as at 53 degrees 06' north, 1 degree 27' east.
E. Rose (NAU), 28 January 1983.

Possibly same as wreck noted by survey at 53.04.00 north, 001.25.00 east. SS Marden, sunk 27 May 1929. No trace found in 1929 or 1933. In February 1933, SS Alnwick struck submerged object at this point.
