Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 1983 and 2018 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and a number of other medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a medieval strap end and a badly damaged lead ampulla; a medieval/post-medieval thimble and copper alloy unidentified openwork object and post-medieval buttons, a furniture handle and coin weight.

Lead pilgrim's ampulla with traces of scallop-shell decoration. Badly bent and damaged.
