Map

West gable wall of apparently 17th century brickwork with central blocked or ornamental window surrounds on each of two levels. South wall of brick but north wall has two cart porches in flint. Probably later.
Owner claims farmhouse is 'an Anglo-Saxon hall' but exterior is all 19th century.
Only barn, not house, is listed.
House has now been listed, on re-survey, as 18th century.
E. Rose (NAU) 9 February 1983.

The 'Anglo Saxon hall' idea came from source [1] who based it on the 'Saxon lengths' of the beams.

February 1984. Listed, Grade II.
