4 February 1983. East of moated site. BB 24. Casual finds; very poor conditions.
1 medieval unglazed.
1 glazed Grimston.
NCM .983 ex staff fieldwork (A. Rogerson).
Identified A. Rogerson (NAU) February 1983.
13 February 1984.
Area extended under better conditions to cover whole field east of moat. Divided into 2 contexts, north and south.
BB 119 and 120.
Late Saxon, Roman, prehistoric, medieval sherds.
