Summary

This timber-framed house dates to the 16th century. The upper floor may have been an original feature or a 17th century insertion. An extension and chimneystack were added later, but were demolished as part of renovation work that took place in the 1980s. Various medieval and post medieval finds were recovered during the renovation work.
