Full Description
10 August 1978. Aerial photography by Aerial Archaeology Foundation (S1).
Positive cropmarks.
Cropmarks of two parallel ditches of a trackway, crossing two fields and continuing line of associated field boundary to north.

The undated trackway described above appears to instead be a natural palaeochannel, visible as cropmarks and soilmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S2), and as an earthwork on visualised lidar data (S3). As it is a natural feature it has not been mapped by the project. The Monument Polygon defining the site has been amended to reflect its location on the visualised lidar data and digital aerial sources. These show that the feature extends beyond this area to the west and northeast, forming part of a wider network of former channels.
