Summary

Fenland fieldwalking here in 1983 recovered a number of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds from the top of an undated roddon. Pieces of clay, animal bone and shell were also noted in this area.

24 February 1983. Fenland fieldwalking. On top low roddon minimum 50m west-to-east and 20m north-to-south.
May have continued to south and east. 2.4m (8ft) OD.
Scatter of sparse medieval pottery and early post medieval pottery a little more abundant. Odd bits shell and animal bone, some fired clay.
