Summary
Metal detecting in this area during 1982 recovered a copper alloy equal-arm brooch with incised decoration. This example dated to the 8th century.

February 1982. Field northwest of church ruins. Found with metal detector.
Bronze equal-arm brooch with incised decoration, 8th century.
