Summary

A scatter of Roman pottery and brick was found on the surface of this field. One fragment of overfired Early Saxon pottery was also recovered.

Late 1982. Found on surface of ploughed field. Southeast of Old Hall Barn.
Scatter, about 46m (50 yards) across of Roman coarse sherds and brick. One coarse grey handmade sherd, probably refired Early Saxon.
