Summary

Fenland fieldwalking here during 1983 recovered sherds of Roman pottery and pieces of Roman briquetage. Additionally, an unidentifiable soilmark feature was noted at this location.

16 February 1983. Fenland fieldwalking.
Dense scatter Roman pottery, apparent in spite of regenerated vegetation. 90m west-to-east x 70m north-to-south at 1.8m (6ft) OD.
Briquetage. Not on roddon - a few metres to south on flat ground. Soil discolouration cannot be checked.
