Summary

Fenland fieldwalking here in 1983 recovered a small scatter of medieval pottery sherds from the top of a small roddon.

27 February 1983.
Scatter medieval sherds on top of small roddon and stretching down sides, particularly to the east.
Material could only be located in newly planted strawberry bed. On north and south more strawberries cover ground effectively. Spread over 70m east-to-west x 25m north-to-south at minimum of 2.1m (7ft) OD.
