Summary

Aerial photography from 1978 recorded the cropmarks of a sub-rectangular enclosure (now recorded as NHER 70006), possibly double ditched on the south side, which may be of Roman date and related to the villa site (NHER 1903). Metal detecting in recent years has resulted in the recovery of a number of Roman coins, as well as lead and copper alloy objects.
