Summary

Fenland fieldwalking here in 1983 recovered sherds of Roman pottery and fragments of animal bone. An undated roddon was also noted in this area.

10 March 1983. Fenland fieldwalking.
Scatter Roman pottery, animal bone sparse to medium. Fired clay probably modern. No obvious briquetage but site on top and west side of roddon. Finds under well-grown winter wheat so observation difficult. 60m northwest to southeast x 40m northeast to southwest at 1.8m (6ft) OD.
