October 2025. Northwest Norfolk Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AI&M) Project.
The cropmarks of ditches described above could not be identified on the consulted aerial sources, which included several runs of RAF photography from 1945 and 1946. Any marks visible in this field appear more likely to be the product of recent agricultural activity, rather than the presence of buried archaeological features, although this is not certain. No features were mapped by the project.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 22 October 2025.
