Summary

Fenland fieldwalking here in 1983 recorded a scatter of medieval pottery and bone fragments. A possible medieval roddon was also noted in this area.

Context 1. Medieval sherds over field.
Context 2 at 4832 1341. Scatter medieval pot, abundant bone, some shell but little building material. Medium sized roddon nearby and smaller one within scatter area. 60m x minimum 30m north-south cut off by drainage ditch.
2.4m (8ft) OD field good condition.
