Full Description
April 1983. Visited.
Ice-house. Just east of outbuildings of Sandringham House, beside large octagonal Game Larder, and about 183m (200 yards) northeast of lake. Under oval mound, but circular in form. Very short entrance tunnel with part of outer door frame (now boarded over). Built of late 19th century brick, leads to smaller square opening in wall of chamber.
E. Rose (NAU), April 1983.
Site is a bat roost and needs a lockable door to protect both site and bats from harm.
