Summary
A 13th to 14th century jug handle was found in soil dumped to make a new river wall. The soil is thought to have come from NHER 16033 and was extracted during the construction of the Gillingham bypass.

September 1982. Found in soil dumped to make up new river wall on Middle Mile Reach.
Medieval jug handle.
