Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1983 recorded a scatter of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds. A roddon of unknown date was also noted along with pieces of post medieval fired clay/brick.

27 May 1983. Within orchard on north side of large roddon. Found beneath trees in bare patches of earth.
Scatter of medieval pottery, obviously only small sample of what exists. Also some post medieval material. Great deal of fired clay/brick, though most of latter on south side roddon.
Whole spread minimum of 60m west-east x 40m north-south.
