Summary

Sometime prior to 1980 a lead-glazed earthenware jug containing madder was dug up at this location. Additionally, an iron spur fragment of a similar date was also found here.

Pre 1980. 'On block 50/51 on J1 development at Clover Hill'. City Hall state that there is no block of that number on J1, which is the Watton Close/Harry Barber Close area as grid reference. 61-92cm (2-3ft) deep in foundation digging by finder.
