Summary

The main block of this house dates from 1860, but the rear wing is older, possibly 15th century or earlier. Although much altered and covered when the main block was built, the older wing retains some original features, including a timber framed east wall and timber beams. The house is just outside the north east corner of a large moated site (NHER 10202), and may have been related to the manor house that once stood there.
