Summary

This farm dates to the post medieval period. The farmhouse is built of flint and brick with a pantile roof. The majority of the house dates to the 17th century, although part of one wall is definitely earlier. An extension was added during the 19th century, possibly at the time when barn and stable were built. The few pieces of medieval stonework found at the site probably came from nearby Heydon Hall.
