Summary

A post medieval timber framed house. It was built about 1600, perhaps as a small manor or hall house, and an original flint and brick gable and the original roof survive. It was altered considerably during the 18th and 19th centuries, with a rear wing added in about 1700. 18th century features, including panelling, coving and a fireplace, survive inside.

House of about 1600 timber framed with flint and brick gable, original roof. Perhaps small manor or hall. Much altered in 18th century with some fine interiors. Rear wing about 1700. 19th century alterations and rebuildings. Recoated 1983.

January 1984. Listed, Grade II.
Former Rectory house. Plastered facade, red pantiled roof. 2 storey with attics, with north extension. Garden front with 3 window ground and 4 window first-floor. Ground floor to north 2 casement cross windows, to south 2 sashes with glazing bars divided by central mullion. First-floor 2 central 2-light casements and 2 end 3-light casements. Off-centre 6 panel door, under open pediment canopy. Late C19 dormer with plate-glass sash. 2 end and one off- centre stacks. South gable of brick. To north mid C18 2 bay 2 storey extension of brick with 2 ground-floor sashes with glazing bars, 2 first-floor sashes late C19 part plate-glass, part with glazing bars. End stack. Further single storey late C19 extension to north with gabled bow-window.
